Bishop Sullivan Celebrates the Sacrament of Confirmation

On Sunday, March 8th, Bishop Dennis J. Sullivan conferred the Sacrament of Confirmation upon 25 members of our Parish. Please keep them in your prayers as they continue their journey of faith as fully-initiated members of the Church.

Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockettes' Christmas Show

Our 10th Parish Trip was a trip to NYC to see the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall featuring the Rockettes. It was a cold, winter day and definitely got everyone into the spirit of the season.
Thirty-seven parishioners, their friends, and relations spent the day in NYC for the show, a bit of touring around Rockefeller Center, and dinner at Puglia's Italian Restaurant before making the trip home. It was a wonderful time enjoyed by all!

This year, our parish celebrated it's ninth anniversary. Saturday evening, we had our Social in the Saint Michael the Archangel Regional School Gym with 85 parishioners, friends, and family in attendance (see below). On Sunday, the 10:45a Mass was a Children's Mass with our eighth-grade PREP students who assisted at the Mass as greeters, lectors, gift-bearers, and helpers who distributed bulletins at the end of Mass. The Masses this weekend were special because Father Larry got to wear a chasuble donated by a parishioner for this special day. It was also special because we got to say "Thank You" to Deacon Jim Hogan and his wife for their many years of service to the Parish. The Conference Center Grand Re-Opening in Franklinville was held after a summer of renovations and was rededicated as the
Rev. Msgr. Louis F. O'Meara Conference Center in commemoration of Msgr. O'Meara and his work for the parishioners of Franklinville and Clayton and in the building of Nativity Church.

Boston, Gloucester, Salem, & Rockport
September 23-26, 2019
Our trip to Massachusetts featured a visit to the JFK Library and Museum, a tour of historic Salem and a visit to the Witch Memorial, remembering the 20 individuals who died during the trials of 1692, a tour of Gloucester and Rockport, as well as visits to Harvard and MIT. We made several stops along the Freedom Trail including the Old North Church, had lunch in Fanueil Hall, and a visit to see the USS Constitution.

NYC - Phantom of the Opera
June 6, 2019
Forty-three parishioners, their friends, and relations enjoyed a beautiful Spring day in New York City. Upon our arrival at 11:00a, we had some time for a bit sight-seeing and lunch, followed by a matinee-performance of the Phantom of the Opera in the Majestic Theatre. Dinner followed at the Dallas BBQ in Times Square. All-in-all it was a wonderful time for everyone who attended!

We would like to thank everyone who joined us on our second parish trip. It was a great time!!! Forty-five people participated in our second parish trip to the Pennsylvania's Amishlands, which took place on December 2nd-3rd. We shopped at the Tanger Outlets, saw The Miracle of Christmas, had dinner at Shady Maple Smorgasbord, toured the Amish countryside and shopped Amish craft farms, bake shops and other village shops. Everyone laughed and enjoyed themselves and the trip gave us the opportunity to enjoy the companionship of many new acquaintances. Thanks again to everyone who made the trip such a wonderful event!

We would like to thank everyone who joined us on our first parish trip. It was a wonderful time!!! Forty-five people participated in our first parish trip to the Finger Lakes, which took place on May 13 to 15th. We visited museums, had dinner in a castle, toured a mansion and landscaped grounds, tasted wine at a winery and took a scenic lake cruise. The trip was delightful. Everyone laughed and enjoyed themselves and the trip gave us the opportunity to enjoy the companionship of many new acquaintances. Thanks again to everyone who made the trip such a wonderful event!
